Cherokee Bluff tops among Hall high schools in latest U.S. News ranking

Cherokee Bluff is tops among the nine public high schools in Hall County School District (HCSD) in U.S. News & World Report’s latest ranking of high schools across the country.

Second on the list was Flowery Branch, followed by North Hall, Johnson, Chestatee, West Hall, East Hall, and Lanier College & Career Academy. The Foundry was unranked.

The county school system overall scored a 20.9 on College Readiness, 17 on Mathematics Proficiency, and 35 on Reading Proficiency. The Gainesville City School System (GCSS), with just one high school, scored a 25.8 on College Readiness, 20 on Mathematics Proficiency, and 21 on Reading Proficiency.
