Chattahoochee Golf Course closing again because of weather forecast

Chattahoochee Golf Club (CGC) is set to weather another round of closures as more wintry weather moves into Hall County.

In preparation for below-freezing temperatures, rain and the possibility of snow, CGC staff will cover the greens at noon Tuesday, until further notice.

As of Sunday, the National Weather Service (NWS) predicted widespread frost and below-freezing temperatures early in the week. Showers are forecast for Tuesday which could turn into snow showers Wednesday morning, then again that evening. Temperatures aren’t expected to warm up until later in the week, according to forecasters. This will be the third time this winter that this has happened.

Despite this, the driving range will remain open and the Chattahoochee Grill will be open daily for lunch and dinner.
