Bond has been set at $33,400 for a Gainesville woman accused of abusing person in her care at a Gainesville senior living facility. Jakayha Khadjah Harrison, 22, remained in the Hall County Jail of mid-morning Friday after being arrested Wednesday.

Harrison is charged with aggravated battery and exploit/inflict pain/deprive disable/elder/ resident person.

Lt. Kevin Holbrook of the Gainesville Police Department says the charges stem from an incident reported by the staff at the facility Feb. 26.

“Staff called to make a report for a 75-year-old man who stated a caregiver had physically injured him, causing a fracture to his (fibula) and ankle,” Lt.
