HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:
“Christopher Scott Owenby, 38, of Gainesville, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 7, by Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Warrant Unit deputies for a burglary last month at AAA Appliance in North Hall County.
The break-in was reported the morning of Sat., Oct. 28, by an employee of the business who told deputies she arrived at work to find the deadbolt on the main entrance and a light over the front door had been damaged. The owner of the business gave deputies access to security camera footage. With that footage, deputies determined the burglary happened just after 12 a.m. on Oct. 28. They were also able to see a male suspect in the building. Investigators determined the suspect was Owenby and secured a warrant for his arrest.
At this time, Owenby remains in the Hall County Jail on a single felony count of burglary in the second degree.”
