Brenau University conferred degrees and celebrated graduates and undergraduates from The Women’s College and the university at three commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday.
Light rain fell at the beginning of Friday’s ceremony and the forecast of additional inclement weather moved Saturday’s events indoors, but the celebratory spirits of graduates and their families weren’t dampened.
More than 330 students completed their studies during the spring semester; 208 completed graduate coursework and 47 completed their undergraduate studies. Additionally, 82 graduates earned degrees from The Women’s College.
This was the 145th commencement in the history of Brenau University. The first graduating class was just five graduates.
