Braselton to consider annexing Hall, Barrow, Jackson tracts

The Braselton Planning Commission (BPC) will hear annexation, special use, zoning amendment and rezoning requests for a total of 64 acres in Hall, Barrow and Jackson counties when it meets July 22.

Application #1 involves 28 acres in Hall County owned by Friendship Road 53, which is also asking that it be rezoned from Planned Unit Development (PUD) to Residential-2 (R-2) with a proposed use of single-family homes.

Application #2 involves 33 acres also in Hall County and a rezoning request from PUD to Residential-3 (R-3) for a townhouse development.

Application #3 seeks Special Use approval for a one-story self-service facility on two acres in Jackson County.

Application #3 seeks an amended PUD which would clear the way for a 4,200 square-foot medical building and 1,400 square feet for retail use on one acre in Barrow County.
