*Dr. Dallas LeDuff (pictured), the associate superintendent of schools in Oconee County, has been named sole finalist for superintendent of Barrow County Schools. There were 26 applications for the post which has been vacant since the end of last year when Supt. Chris McMichael and the school board agreed to part ways.
*The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is investigating an incident that was reported just north of Gainesville Monday involving two motorists. A woman told deputies her car was damaged by another car that had been tailgating her. “(She said) that she was traveling northbound on Cleveland Highway at Limestone Parkway when another vehicle began tailgating and honking at her,” the sheriff’s office said. “She reported the vehicle passed her and sideswiped her in the area of Whitmire Circle, damaging her vehicle in the process. She gave a description of the vehicle, but deputies have been unable to locate the vehicle or driver at this time.”
