Apalachee: Father of alleged shooter in court

(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – Colin Gray entered a not guilty plea for 29 charges in a Winder courtroom Thursday. He is the father of suspected Apalachee High School shooter Colt Grey.

The 54-year-old faces charges ranging from cruelty to children to second degree murder. Prosecutors base the charges in part on Colin Gray having given his son an AR-15 rifle for Christmas, even though Colt Gray allegedly showed signs of a fascination with school shootings.

Four people were killed and nine injured in the Apalachee High School shooting in September 4.
