(FROM GA. NEWS NETWORK ) – Georgia State School Superintendent Dr. Richard Woods has done an about-face, and is now saying the state will approve funding for a new Advanced Placement African American Studies course.
Woods had originally used the state’s “divisive concepts” law as a reason for not approving the course, but now says “It has been determined that this law shall not restrict local school systems from adopting any AP, IB, or dual enrollment course.”
