Governor Brian P. Kemp said this week Georgia set a new record in Fiscal Year 2026 with roughly $35 billion in project investments.
From July 1, 2025, to June 30 of this year, the Global Commerce team supported 436 expansions by state businesses and new company locations across the state. They are expected to bring an estimated 25,300 new private-sector jobs in the coming years.
“The greatest vote of confidence is a company choosing to expand their existing operations in our state, and that decision made up the vast majority of projects this past fiscal year,” Kemp said.
