A fire Monday afternoon destroyed a mobile home in the 5600 block of Hemlock Street in Lula. It was the second one in the county Monday. Fire destroys mobile home, vehicles, spreads to woods; major grass, woods fire burning in Gville, Fla. It happened about 1:00.
HALL CO. FIRE RESCUE NEWS RELEASE:
“First arriving units discovered a fully involved double-wide mobile home. Crews began a defensive attack and were able to knockdown the bulk of the fire. The flames did extend into the nearby wooded area and on to two vehicles, but were also knocked down.
The primary search was all clear and both residents were accounted for. The home is a total loss, and the American Red Cross was notified for two adults. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
