More than 100 people have reported to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) that they felt the third earthquake to strike our area since Thursday night.
This one occurred about 8:30 Sunday night near the South Hall-North Gwinnett County line, the same area when the other two occurred. It measured 2.0 on the Richter Scale.
The tremor was centered on the shore of Lake Lanier four km northwest of Buford at a depth of 1.3 km near Ansel Court. As of 7 a.m. Monday, 112 people had reported feeling the earth move.

The ones overnight Thursday were in the same area and measured 2.3 and 1.7.
