Braselton hospital designated a Level II Maternity Center.

Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Braselton recently earned The Joint Commission’s Maternal Levels of Care Verification designation as a Level II Maternity Center.

Level II maternity centers are equipped to care for mothers with certain moderate-risk conditions and newborns who require a higher level of care than is available in a basic maternity setting.

The recognition also comes shortly after the hospital celebrated 10 years of maternal and infant care.

“As we celebrate 10 years of caring for mothers and babies, this designation is a meaningful reflection of our team’s dedication to providing the safest, highest-quality care possible,” said Megan Cargile, director of Women & Children’s Services for NGMC Braselton. “It’s an achievement that reinforces our commitment to supporting families at every stage of their journey.”
