Motorcyclist dies after bike is hit by a Gville teen’s SUV

Charges are pending following a deadly traffic accident Sunday afternoon in Dawson County that took the life of a motorcycle rider. The state patrol says it happened about 3:45 on Georgia 9 near Bannister Road.

The investigation revealed an SUV driven by 18-year-old Martin Gomez Gonzalez of Gainesville was traveling north on Georgia 9 and struck the rear of a motorcycle driven by Alfed Harris Moss, age 50, of Grayson, Georgia.

The force of the crash threw Moss from his bike which became lodged in the SUV’s grill and front bumper and was pushed into a minivan in front of it.
