- A 50-year-old Braselton man is facing DUI and vehicular homicide charges in connection with an accident Saturday at Georgia 52 and Auraria Road in Lumpkin County.
State troopers say it happened about 4:00 when an SUV driven by James Fondren IV turned into the path of a motorcycle operated by John Thomas Agans, 41, of Dahlonega, who died after being taken to the hospital in Dahlonega.
Fondren suffered only minor injuries and was treated at the scene. In addition to DUI, he’s been charged with failure to yield the right of way and homicide by vehicle in the first degree.
