Election officials in Dawson and Habersham counties were visited by the state’s top elections official earlier this week.
Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger stopped by to present them with the Georgia Election Administration Golden Leader in Excellence Award. The award recognizes work in administering elections and building voters’ trust.
The award further recognizes high standards in security, innovation, accuracy, and voter access.
