Gainesville Police have arrested Ulices Govanni Aldaco following an investigation into the alleged abuse and sexual battery of a five-month-old child.
Officers were contacted after the infant was taken to a hospital for injuries and “concerns” consistent with abuse and sexual trauma. The child remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit at a children’s hospital.
The 19-year-old Aldaco remains in the Hall County Jail without bond. Jail records Saturday afternoon listed the charges against him as:
