*Valley Road between Crepe Myrtle Lane and Blue Ridge Drive will be closed to thru traffic from 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. This is necessary, city officials say, to allow Gainesville Water Resources to complete road improvements.
*REMINDER: Monday is the final day to register to vote in Georgia in the November general elections. Locally, the Hall County Elections Office is the place to do so. And October 23 is the deadline to request an absentee ballot.
