Four Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club athletes recently represented the U.S. at the 2026 Olympic Hopes Regatta in Bratislava, Slovakia, one of the most prestigious international youth canoe sprint competitions. Zygmond Farmer finished 5th in the U16 C1 5000m and reached the semifinals in both the 500m and 1000m. Peyton Bowker and Solomiya Semchyshyn advanced to the semifinal in the U17 K2 500m. Connor Rowland competed in the U17 K1 500m and 1000m.
