UPDATE #3. POSTED 4:30 P.M. TODAY:
The GBI and the Jefferson Police Department have arrested and charged Terrance Singleton, 21, and Brian Taylor, 23, both of Pendergrass, with murder in connection with the shooting death of Aaron Winston Johnson, age 23, of Jefferson at the Subway in the 5200 block of U.S. 129 in Jefferson.
When Jefferson police officers arrived, they found Johnson with several gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed that Singleton and Taylor visited a home in Commerce earlier in the day to talk with Johnson, but Johnson did not come out of the home. Law enforcement located Singleton and Taylor in DeKalb County later in the day.

Two men have been charged with murder in connection with Tuesday’s fatal shooting at a Subway restaurant in Jefferson.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says Terrance Singleton, 21, and Brian Taylor, 23, were arrested several hours after the shooting in the 5200 block of U.S. 129.
However, no details about the victim or victims or a motive have been released.
