Fall officially arrived on Tuesday and with it milder temperatures in Gainesville and the rest of Georgia – at least for the next week or so. The weather service says they’ll become more noticeable today and stick around at least through the weekend.
“Temperatures will be much more comfortable, and within a few degrees of normal for this time of year,” the latest advisory says. “In the North GA mountains, highs will be in the 60s with lows in the upper 40s!”
What about the Gainesville area? Highs in the 70s with lows in the 50s bottoming out at 54 Friday night.
