*A man’s body was found Monday wedged inside a kitchen vent at a restaurant in south Atlanta. The owner told police that an employee discovered the body of the yet unidentified man. No signs of foul play were found. An autopsy is being conducted by the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause and manner of the man’s death.
*Georgia’s two gubernatorial candidates went head-to-head over each other’s involvement in data centers Monday. According to the AJC, Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms called on Republican rival Rick Jackson to “pledge to divest in every data center project that you are involved in.” Jackson fired back with his on demand that Bottoms disclose her client list from a stint as a consultant, with a campaign spokesperson calling Bottoms a “two-faced, double-talking politician.”
*A former Colquitt County deputy sheriff is facing criminal charges for allegedly misusing the Flock camera system as is a former Emerson police officer. The GBI announced the arrests Monday.
