*A 30-year-old woman is under arrest in connection with a nearly three-year-old theft from Jim Shorkey Cadillac, according to Gainesville Police. A police spokesman said warrants were taken for Te’Oshia LaShaun Brooks in November 2023 for allegedly stealing eight tires from the dealership, putting them in a rental truck and driving away with them. The value of the tires was placed at about $2,300. Brooks was arrested earlier this week.
*Also, in custody after being arrested by city police is 68-year-old Reginald Green. Police say Green entered an employee office area of Amigo Coin Laundry on three occasions, stealing a total of $3,500 in the process. Green was also arrested earlier this week.
