A hiker found the remains of two bodies this morning on Mt. Yonah in White County, according to Sheriff Rick Kelley.
Sheriff’s office investigators along with officials from the state Department of Natural Resources responded. In addition, a GBI crime scene until was requested by Sheriff Kelley to assist in processing the scene.
The discovery was reported about 11:15.
No other information was immediately released.
