*A Heat Advisory issued for all of Georgia except for a few counties to the north of Gainesville remains in effect today. The affected area is along and south and west of a line from Toccoa-to-Gainesville-to-Dalton. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-90s with heat index readings up to ten degrees warmer than that. The Heat Advisory is scheduled to expire at 8:00 tonight.
*The Chattahoochee Golf Club (CGC) driving range will be unavailable for play Monday-Wednesday to allow for irrigation upgrades. The pro shop and Chattahoochee Grill, however, will remain open. A friendly reminder the golf course remains closed for renovation through Nov. 1, excluding the driving range (after Sept. 9) and related facilities as a major renovation of the course continues.
