A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Buford Friday. Gwinnett County Police (GCP) say it happened in the area of 7066 Buford Highway just south of the Hall County line.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim had been pronounced dead by the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office. There were no designated crossing points near the location where the pedestrian was found.
The victim’s name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
