The city of Gainesville plans to film in several areas of downtown today for a promotional video.
City staff and a film crew will be working in locations that include the square, Roosevelt Square and the pedestrian bridge, Gainesville Renaissance storefronts and sidewalk cafes, The National, Bourbon Brothers Smokehouse & Tavern and The Hall, and the Gainesville North Parking Deck.
Also, The Everly, Solis Gainesville, The Midland Gainesville, Midland Greenway and the amphitheater, cottages on Davis and Summit streets, The Boathouse at Lake Lanier, and Lake Lanier Olympic Park.
According to the city, the crew will work quickly to limit disruptions to visitors and patrons. No sidewalk or road closures are planned.
