Six months after her passing, the family of Laila Muhanna ia celebrating “the impact she left on this world” with the establishment of a college fund at Brenau University in her memory.
“Professionally, Laila dedicated her life to serving others as a therapist,” her obituary reads. “Known for her unwavering empathy, she provided a safe harbor for individuals, navigating their darkest moments. Her life’s work was rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be heard, valued, and healed. The community of people she guided toward brighter days remains a testament to her beautiful spirit.”
The Laila Muhanna Fund has been established to assist Psychology students attending Brenau in pursuing mental health care. brenau.edu/muhanna-fund.
