One person was killed in a two‑vehicle crash in White County Saturday morning when one driver failed to yield at an intersection on Georgia 384, the state patrol said Sunday afternoon.
The state patrol says a car traveling west on Stovall Road approached the stop sign at the intersection and pulled into the path of a southbound pickup on highway 384. The southbound vehicle struck the other in the right side.
The driver of the car died from her injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with minor injuries. The state patrol did not immediately release any names.
