A packed week of racing action is in store for this week at Road Atlanta leading up to the 10‑hour Motul Petit Le Mans on Saturda. While the endurance classic is the centerpiece of the weekend, the days beforehand are filled with additional series taking to the track, beginning Wednesday and continuing through Friday.
The schedule builds toward the FOX Factory 120 on Friday afternoon, a 120‑minute sprint featuring the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. Manufacturers including Chevrolet, BMW, Porsche, McLaren, Mercedes‑AMG and Aston Martin will battle for position in one of the weekend’s most competitive support events.
Several other series will also run throughout the week, giving fans a variety of racing styles to watch. The VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, Porsche Carrera Cup North America and the Whelen Mazda MX‑5 Cup presented by Michelin are all set to compete, adding constant activity between WeatherTech Championship sessions at the 29th Annual Motul Petit Le Mans.
This year’s Petit Le Mans also serves as Round Five of the Michelin Endurance Cup, a five‑race championship within the larger IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar season. Points from all endurance rounds are combined to determine the IMEC winner, with 52 total hours of racing across the five events deciding the title.
