There was little change in the drought in Hall County and the rest of northeast Georgia this week compared to a week ago. But overall, it showed modest increases in percentage of the state it covers and in intensity – abnormally, moderately and severely dry.
In Hall County, the northwestern section, bordering White, Lumpkin and Dawson counties remains moderately dry, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
Meanwhile, the level of Lake Lanier lost another tenth of a foot and is now at 1065.8.
