One person suffered critical injuries in Habersham County about noon Tuesday in an accident involving a pickup and gasoline-powered scooter. It happened on North 441 Historic Highway in front of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Authorities said the crash appeared to be head‑on.
The critically injured was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
