The GBI has confirmed that a man and woman being held in the Hall County Jail since Wednesday were arrested by the agency, but little is being released about the case at this time.
“We can confirm that these subjects were arrested by the GBI on August 19, 2026,” a GBI spokeswoman said Thursday. “As the investigation is active and ongoing, there is no additional information available for release at this time.”
Bernad Broughton, 51, and Patricia Denise Everhardt, 57, each face a number of charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
