*Imagine sitting in your motel room minding your own business when a strange woman walks in unexpectedly? And refuses to leave? And suddenly removes all her clothes? And still refuses to leave? Well, Gainesville Police say that’s exactly what happened a few days ago to the occupant of a room at the Georgianna Motel. Police were called and arrest Ashley Sharon Brown, 34, charging her with trespassing and public indecency. Early Thursday morning, Brown remained in the Hall County Jail.
*37-year-old Larry Lance Bradshaw was arrested Tuesday on a shoplifting charge while trying to steal nearly $1,000 worth of power tools from the Gainesville Home Depot, according to police. Police say he had put the items in a plastic tote. The value of the tools was put at $993. Bradshaw is charged with shoplifting. He’s also being held for parole violation and for unspecified charges in Dawson County.
