*Broad Street between E.E. Butler Parkway and Henry Ward Way will be closed to thru traffic from 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Saturday. This is to allow for exterior maintenance work at the Hall County Courthouse. If you need to get to the Hall County Parking Facility, use the Spring Street entrance.
*The Hall County Commission (HCC) voted Thursday night to approve a rezoning request for 19 acres at 5205 Winder Highway near Tanners Mill Road which clears the way for a 146,000-square-foot warehouse. The commission also approved spending $869,000 for permanent repairs to Falcon Crest Drive which was badly damaged by torrential rains a few weeks ago. The meeting was streamed on this website and a video of it should be available sometime today at HCC meeting streaming here. The meeting will be discussed by Mike Wofford with a member of the commission on 97.5 Glory FM’s “Community Focus” at 9:05 this morning.
