A small film crew work Saturday on the downtown square, according to city officials.
Filming will take place primarily at Occasions Florist on Washington Street at Bradford Street, including the sidewalk directly outside the shop and the innermost sidewalk in front of angled parking spaces on the square’s Washington Street side. Sidewalk closures and “Filming in Progress” signs will be posted from 2:00-5:00 at the corners of Washington and Main and Washington and Bradford.
A brief scene will also be filmed in the grassy area of the square alongside Main Street, where signs will be posted.
City officials say the activity will not affect normal downtown operations beyond the temporary sidewalk closures.
No details about the type of production that will be filmed – scenes for movie, TV series, TV commercial, etc. – were immediately available.
