*Nearly 500 pounds of meth and other drugs seized in metro Atlanta. Federal law enforcement authorities conducted a targeted multi-city drug operation in College Park uncovering the illegal drugs in an apartment. Three men were charged following the operation. Fox 5 Atlanta reports the suspects face federal charges of conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances. Multiple local agencies assisted the DEA in the operations.
*A deadly shooting in Stockbridge involving two minors left a 14-year-old boy dead and a 12-year-old girl hospitalized. Authorities say officers were called to a Stockbridge subdivision on reports of gunfire and found the girl had been shot. She was rushed to the hospital where she is said to be recovering.
