A 72-year-old woman was being held in the Hall County Jail without bond Wednesday morning following a dispute at a Gainesville motel. Annie Laura Ash was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
“Dispute at 726 Jesse Jewell Parkway,” a police spokesman wrote in an email Wednesday. “Ash allegedly pulled a knife on the person in the room next to her, threatened them for unknown reasons.”
Ash is charged with aggravated assault.
The incident happened at The Live-In Lodge.
