The man who was shot and wounded by police in Commerce last week has been identified.
The GBI said Monday he is Levi Long, 24, Commerce, and he remains in critical condition at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
Long was shot Thursday when he reportedly lunged at Commerce police officers with a screwdriver outside a house on Forest Avenue who were responding to a report of a domestic-related incident.
