By this time next week, students in five public school systems in the Gainesville area will be just a day or two away from starting the new school year: Banks County, July 31; Commerce City, July 31; Jackson County, July 30; Jefferson City, July 30; and Barrow County, July 31. All the rest, including Gainesville (Aug. 4) and Hall County (Aug. 7), will wait until next month.

Nothing major. Replaced HVAC units at New Holland Leadership Academy. Began renovations at Ivey-Watson Baseball Field.
ESTIMATED ENROLLMENT:
Approximately 8,250 which is similar to last school year.
