Congressman Rich McCormick (R-Suwanee), one of two Hall County representatives in Congress, said Sunday he was “heartbroken” to hear of the passing of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).
Call Graham “my friend,” McCormick said the longtime member of Congress “dedicated his life to serving our country with courage, conviction, and an unwavering love for America. His legacy will be remembered for generations, and he will be deeply missed.”
Graham’s office issued a statement early Sunday saying he died unexpectedly following a sudden illness. The statement did not elaborate.
