Gainesville Police are searching for the gunman who shot and critically wounded one person outside a Limestone Parkway store late Monday night.
“Late last night police responded to the Dollar General on Limestone Parkway for a shooting,” spokesman Kevin Holbrook said. “An adult male was shot in the abdomen area, was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in critical condition.”
Initial information indicates another man attempted to rob the victim,
“At some point a shot was fired. The suspect allegedly left on foot. Police used canines and air support to look for the perpetrator but were unsuccessful. The victim was not inside the store, was outside at a vehicle. Was not an employee.”
