*PNC Financial Services Group is set to expand its presence in metro Atlanta by adding 25 branches and hiring over 100 new employees over the next four years. The company views Atlanta as a key market for growth, targeting both consumers and corporate clients. The Atlanta Business Journal reports that despite facing stiff competition from established players, PNC aims to increase its branch presence by more than 50% in the region.
*While much of the country is seeing fewer kids, new Census estimates show the South is the only U.S. region where the child population grew between 2020 and 2025. That’s a sign families are continuing to move into Southern states, helping fuel population growth across the region. WYFF reports the new data also show the South posted the largest gains in other age groups as well.
