The Cat in the Car

Cat caught in the engine compartment of a car. HCSO to the rescue. Hall County Fire Rescue ain’t got nothing on one Hall County sheriff’s deputy.

SRO Nick Jackson was working election security at Spout Springs Library last Tuesday when he saw a vehicle (hood up) pulled over on a nearby street. Two ladies appeared to be in a dilemma, so he went to investigate. The ladies told him there was a kitten trapped behind the engine. Thanks to Deputy Jackson’s patience and compassion (and a drumstick that was in the car), he managed to pull the little guy to safety.

Just for fun, we pulled the body cam footage for your viewing pleasure. Good job, Deputy Jackson!
