A Jackson County native is Commerce’s new Downtown Development & Main Street Director.
Dana David is coming to Commerce from south Georgia, where she spent the past four years as Adel’s Downtown Main Street Director.
With over 12 years of combined experience in municipal government, marketing, and advertising, David brings proven expertise in downtown beautification and revitalization, economic development, business and community engagement, grant writing, event planning, and volunteer management, according to a Commerce Facebook post.
Her first day on the job will be in mid-July.
