*Columbus leaders are proposing a 9:00 p.m. curfew for minors. This comes after around 150 unchaperoned teens were seen in a Columbus parking garage recently. Police say the area smelled heavily of marijuana, and they also found guns and drug paraphernalia at the site. Teens tell WTVM-TV the 9:00 p.m. curfew is too early.
*DeKalb Police report one of their officers was stabbed while responding to a suspicious person call on Monday morning. They say when the officer confronted the suspect, the suspect stabbed the officer who then shot the suspect. The officer is listed in stable condition, and the suspect is listed as critical.
*A new report shows the most common job in every state based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Visual Capitalist reports that Georgia’s most common job is also the position with the highest number of workers by profession in the country: fast food workers. Georgia is among 17 other states where that’s the case. In eleven states retail sales and cashier positions offered the highest number of employment opportunities, while home health aides were most common in ten other states. Following were freight movers, operation managers, and nurses.
