Eysiah G Johnson McCoy, 30, of Lawrenceville, was charged over the weekend with criminal trespass at an abandoned house in the 2500 block of Gaines Mill Road where she had apparently been living, without the owner’s permission.
HCSO NARRATIVE:
“The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) patrol deputy who responded to the scene on Sunday…located McCoy walking away from the residence. The owners of the residence were at the location as well, and they told the deputy they had found McCoy lying on the ground outside the house. McCoy tried to leave when the homeowners called law enforcement.
The deputy observed a broken window at the back of the residence where McCoy had apparently made entry. He also located items belonging to McCoy inside the house.
The homeowners indicated they have found McCoy at the residence two weeks ago, but she left voluntarily without law enforcement involvement. The homeowners indicated they wanted to press charges for the latest break-in.
At last check, McCoy remained in jail on a $520 bond.”
