Gainesville is hosting the 2026 NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships (Divisions I, II & III) May 29-31 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park (LLOP) and some of the facilities at the park will be closed to the public starting later this week.
In preparation for this multi-day regatta, the beach side of the park will close to the public starting at 5:00 p.m. Friday. The boat ramp side of the facility, however, will remain open until midnight Monday, 11:59 p.m. Monday, May 25.
City officials encourage residents and visitors to plan accordingly before visiting LLOP.
