A Toccoa man has been charged with threatening the lives of two former federal officials and his case has been assigned to federal court in Gainesville.
Specifically, Elliott Schroer’s threats were directed at former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and former Attorney General Pam Bondi. The threats have been described by some court officers as “deeply disturbing.”
“I will stab your eyes out with a dull knife.”
“I will blow your esophagus out the back of your neck with a 12 gauge slug.”
“We will put your head on a stake.”
“We’re going to kill you Pam.”
Schroer is due in court May 29 for a pre-trial hearing.”
Schroer has been indicted on two counts of interstate communication of threats and two counts of making threats against former government officials. He is alleged to have made the threats in early April.
