Cumming Police Department (CPD) employees held a “supply drive” last week for first responders and residents impacted by the south Georgia wildfires.
Officers collected things such as bottled water and electrolyte drinks, prepackaged meals and snacks, hygiene items, and bedding. The donations were enough to fill a box truck.
Chief PJ Girvan and Lt. Chris Glowcheski drove the items down to Brunswick on Thursday for distribution.
